I have been working as a pet sitter for over five years, and the Walkies app is by far the best tool I've used. Compared to other platforms like Rover, the features here are unmatched. It allows me to offer my clients a seamless experience when booking privately, without them losing a single feature—in fact, they gain so much more! The developer is absolutely incredible, too. They actively listen to suggestions and consistently update the app to make it even better. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

So far, my experience with the app has been excellent. It is very user-friendly, easy to navigate, and designed with the customer’s experience in mind. One area that could be improved would be providing additional notification settings, such as more options for receiving notifications through email or text message. Additionally, during an active visit, it would be helpful to have more customization options on the home screen. For example, allowing the owner and sitter to create customized labels or additional categories could provide greater flexibility for documenting and communicating specific information about each visit. Overall, I think this is an excellent app that is extremely user-friendly and convenient. The customer service has also been exceptional, with very prompt responses to any questions or concerns. Based on my overall experience, I would gladly give this company and its app a five-star rating!

I love this app. I have been using it for almost a decade now and there is always improvements and additions. I’ve even been able to message the creator about different issues I was having or possibly adding something more specific for me and they are always responsive. I’m so very happy I chose this app over some of the other pet care apps out there.

I’m so impressed with this app! The features are exactly what I need as a dog walker/sitter and I’ve found it allows me to be more present with the pups instead of trying to remember all we did during our time together and sending a long recap via text to parents at the end of the day. My favorite features are the gps tracker (and that you can note their potty habits easily and quickly within the gps), the taxi (car ride) feature, and being able to share photos and videos with the pet parents from our time together! Speaking of parents, the feedback from them has been fabulous! They love being able to follow along with their pup’s day in real time, and love showing their colleagues, friends, and family their pup’s “Instagram feed” from the day and what they’ve been up to! It also gives them peace of mind knowing they can check in anytime and see where their pup is and what they’re up to. Big kudos to the app developer! He is also open and responsive to feedback and questions, and you can tell he’s very passionate about this app and providing the best experience for his users! 10/10 app and experience!

I literally have everything I need to run my business all in one spot and it makes life so much easier since I’m on the go so much. Scheduling, client details, walk logging, and updates are all organized the way the job really works, and I'm not fighting the app to get through my day. It smooths out the entire tech process, leaving walkers with plenty of bandwidth to focus on what really matters, the dogs. Another thing that sets it apart is the developer. Rob is genuinely easy to talk to, responsive, and open to feedback. I've suggested features and watched them become real updates, sometimes the same day. I absolutely love this app! I really appreciate that you can take payments through the app but you do not have to if you don’t want to. It’s pretty easy to navigate once you familiarize yourself with it. It’s is so affordable which is another plus.
